The area of Strength and Conditioning has grown significantly over the last number of years. Whilst our graduates have traditionally gained employment in professional sports, there is now a much greater awareness of the application of these skill sets into broader areas such as wellness and wellbeing, fitness and even clinical settings.

Our university partners, through whom our content has been accredited, have significantly increased the number of applicants and students enrolled on the programme over the last number of years. The degree in Strength and Conditioning has not detracted from existing Sports Programmes but attracted a different profile of student and grown overall numbers.

Because there is a significant practical application element to this programme the students can apply their skill sets to support with the coaching of university teams and teams in the broader community. This process has the benefit of improving sports performance and allowing the students to gain the hand on knowledge, which enhances their employability.
